Synonym Helipterum strictum
Fast growing, vigorous plants with large stem clasping leaves at the base which get smaller further up the branching reddish-brown stems. Stems can reach 40 cm high and carry a small, single white flower head. Certainly not the showiest of species, but interesting nonetheless.
Germination period 8 to 20 days. Minimum contents 200 seeds.
