Spike-headed Sunray Rhodanthe spicata

Synonym Calocephalus globosus, Helipterum spicatum
A plant that quickly forms a dense round shape of slender, grey-green, finely haired leaves. Later flowering stems emerge and rise to 30 to 40 cm, carrying dense spikes of pale yellow buds that open to bright yellow flowers. Grows in most soils in full sun or light shade in a pot, hanging basket or the garden.
Germination period 8 to 20 days. Minimum contents 200 seeds
