Pom Poms Cephalipetrum drummondii Pinkish

Pompoms occur in a range of colours, mostly white, cream and yellow but occasionally there are pink ones. We have been selecting for pink flowers for a few years and only now are releasing seed for sale. This strain is best described as pinkish. Many plants will display pink in the bud but not all in the flower. Our selection process is ongoing. A slow germinating but quick growing plant that produces many upright stems that have large leaves at the base grading to smaller higher up. Each stem is topped with a composite flower head that is almost a sphere and comprised of clusters of flowers surrounded by short pink to white bracts. Grows to 30 cm high and 25 cm wide. Best grown in full sun or part shade in either a large pot or the garden.
Germination period 10 to 25 Days. Minimum contents 100 capsules
