Slow germinating but quick growing plants with many upright stems bearing large leaves at the base which get smaller as they go up. Each stem is topped with a composite flower head that is almost a sphere comprised of clusters of flowers surrounded by quite variable floral bracts. This is the short, yellow bract form that grows to 30 cm high and 25 cm wide. Best grown in full sun or part shade in either a large pot or the garden.
Germination period 10 to 25 Days Minimum contents 100 capsules
