Mini Silver Bells Rhodanthe manglesii Jarrah Forest form
New for 2024
There is a lot of variation in form and size amongst plants presently grouped under R. manglesii. This little gem which occurs in WA’s Jarrah forest is a case in point. It has a branching habit to only about 20cm high and across, dense foliage and ultimately masses of buds across the upper surfaces. Like the better known ‘Silver Bells’ they are silver but in this form the buds remain upright and hardly open. You have to look closely to see the pink petals. A perfect candidate for Collectors corner! Grows in a wide range of soils and in full sun or shade. Suitable for growing in a pot or the garden.
Germination period 5 to 15 days. Minimum contents 100 seeds.
