Slow germinating but quick growing plants with many upright stems bearing large leaves at the base getting smaller as they go up the flowering stems which are topped with almost spherical flower head 3 to 5 cm in diameter. This is the long, yellow bract form that grows to 40 cm high and 30 cm wide. Best grown in full sun or part shade in either a large pot or the garden. Dries well.
Germination period 10 to 25 days.
